Ann Arbor has been good to us. This month we are showing up for it by taking part in three a2Tech360 events.

Tech Homecoming — September 22

Great tech companies need great local talent. That is why Rhys and Ezra will be representing Barrett Solutions at Tech Homecoming with our brand new sign on September 22nd at Venue by 4M.

We are growing here in Ann Arbor and we are committed to building that growth with people from this community. We are also opening applications for our next Software Engineering Intern. If you know a strong engineering student in the area, send them our way.

JacHacks x a2Tech360 Hackathon — September 26-27

Earlier this year we went to Ann Arbor SPARK and asked how Barrett Solutions could get more involved in a2Tech360. One answer was helping bring a hackathon to life.

On September 26th and 27th we are leading the Local Impact track at the JacHacks x a2Tech360 Hackathon at the University of Michigan with Compass Detroit, Luigi Solutions, Baz, IBM and Google. The prompt is simple: what could you build in a weekend to make Ann Arbor better? I will be one of the judges. Registration is still open.

On October 2nd, Barrett Solutions will have a booth on Liberty St. during the a2Tech360 signature event of Tech Trek.

Come to our booth, tell us the most annoying repetitive task you deal with at work, and see how we would fix it. We are also running a raffle for a free automation audit and some swag. Hope to see you there!
